A Visit to Iseley Farms

Iseley Farms welcomes, school groups, church groups, home-schooled groups, playschool and preschool groups to enjoy strawberry picking in the spring and the pumpkin patch & hayrides in the month of October.

The activity objectives are to provide a fun, educational, and interactive opportunity for children and adults to visit a real working family farm. Your group will observe a variety of cultivation methods, see the equipment used for these methods, learn the importance of natural elements (wind, rain, sun, etc.,) for producing a crop or breeding cattle, as well as learning how the lack of any of these elements effects the availability of our food supply. It is our hope that this visit to Iseley Farms will help children understand the cycle of food from the field to the table and instill an appreciation for responsible stewardship practiced on the family farms that have historically been the backbone of agriculture production in this country.

During the month of October, hayrides are available on Saturday & Sunday. Call to reserve your spot on the hay wagon and come out and enjoy the fun!

Call 336- 584-3323 to make a reservation and find out how to register your group for a fun-filled day at the farm!
